Ben Ephson, Ghana’s Leading Elections Forecaster Was On KWAKU One-On-One On Sunday 14th December 2008

He gets it right most of the time. But Ben Ephson, is not a phychic, he’s a journalist who, increasingly, has become Ghana’s leading elections forecaster. Over the past 14 years, he’s honed his skill as a reader of pol. Tea leaves who is able to point which way the people’s breadthe is blowing, why, and where it will settle. From the mid-70s for more than 25 years, Ben Ephson, was correspondent for International News Outlets, including 10 years for the BBC. He told the world about Ghana when it was risky to do so. He became a political prisoner.

Ben is a sickle cell patient, yet he’s a big man who jokes about his own weight. He’ll explain the contradictions of his life, including how, inspite of his heft, he manages to lift off & fly in his favourite sport of volleyball.
