Elections in Ghana are due in about 10 weeks.
The lackluster atmosphere of a few months ago, has begun to fade. Party flags now flatter on lamp-posts; Giant billboards featuring candidates with halos stare down at us pathetic mortals from their celestial perch;
The rallies have increased in frequency; the finger-pointing contest is on, along with the battle of the manifestos as voices & party anthems ascend, & long-lost politicians descend & now, somehow, find their way home.
So what does Dec 7 hold in store? What’s Diferent? What’s New? Should we be excited? Frightened? Hopeful?
