My guest is the acclaimed Ghanaian Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, Dr. Michael K. Obeng. He reshapes the contours of the rich and famous in California, and restores symmetry to their body where the storms of life have taken a disastrous toll. Of course, operating successfully within earshot of Hollywood means the till doesn’t stop ringing.
But Dr. Obeng isn’t content with receiving cheques from clients with Bel Air addresses. Once every year, he leads a team of doctors to Ghana and Asia to provide free surgery to people who NEED – as against want – plastic surgery but who cannot afford his Beverly Hills rates.
Under his RESTORE charity organization, he’s just completed yet another mission to Ghana where several dozen people have had their bodies repaired and reshaped, and their hope for living normal lives restored.
